Accountability

I need to give credit to www.firefighters.org for their work of providing the entire bible in mp3 format for free to the general public!

I have used their bible verses in assistance on every page where scripture is quoted.

Accountability is a must people if you are going to live your life as a Christian. We can not live our lives ignorant of the means in which we live and expect God to bless us. If you are evading doing things for profits sake, like doing business over the internet and not paying taxes, or you make money on the side from doing business and you call them your benefits for working so hard. There are consequences for that.

If you are in possession of illegal software, games, movies, music, it is no different than stealing, you are a thief and you need to stop it and repent. You need to get rid of it and don't ever do it again. If you plagiarize other people's writings, it is thievery.

Now read Romans 13:1-3 and tell me if you can live any part of your life in denial and dishonesty?

Rom. 13:1) Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: The powers that be are ordained of God. 2) Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3) For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same;

This is a warning to all. If you find yourselves coming under persecution, or material things around you seem to be breaking down, anything that makes you spend money on something that should not ordinarily be happening, you can be sure it is a judgment from God and he is allowing the devil to gain access into your life. The devil is the destroyer.

If you don't think you're accountable, or you just don't know, ignorance of the law is no excuse. You will suffer!

In our lifetime, we are accountable through truth, that is the only persistent thing we have to convict us. Where does truth originate, from the Father who is truth through His origin. Our souls get convicted because God made us a spiritual being from the start and it doesn't matter whether we are in God's spirit or in our own spirit, it has it's convicting qualities.
Now the truth of this is in this devotion from Oswald Chambers.

THE UNDEVIATING QUESTION
Lovest thou Me?

John 21:17
http://www.BibleStudyTools.com/search/?query=joh+21:17&sr=1

Peter declares nothing now (cf. Matthew 26:33-35). Natural individuality professes and declares; the love of the personality is
only discovered by the hurt of the question of Jesus Christ. Peter loved Jesus in the way in which any natural man loves a good
man. That is temperamental love; it may go deep into the individuality, but it does not touch the center of the person. True
love never professes anything. Jesus said - "Whosoever shall confess Me before men," i.e., confess his love not merely by his
words, but by everything he does.

Unless we get hurt right out of every deception about ourselves, the word of God is not having its way with us. The word of God
hurts as no sin can ever hurt, because sin blunts feeling. The question of the Lord intensifies feeling, until to be hurt by Jesus
is the most exquisite hurt conceivable. It hurts not only in the natural way but in the profound personal way. The word of the
Lord pierces even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, there is no deception left.

There is no possibility of being sentimental with the Lord's question; you cannot say nice things when the Lord speaks directly to
you, the hurt is too terrific. It is such a hurt that it stings every other concern out of account. There never can be any mistake
about the hurt of the Lord's word when it comes to His child; but the point of the hurt is the great point of revelation.

Another thing about accountability, it works both ways... God holds us accountable for our actions, but we need to hold HIM accountable for His promises and His undying love for us!

I was having a unconscious conversation with god, as in, I was asking questions in my thought process and the holy spirit was answering them in the same way. This is where truth proceeds out of the mouth of God. He takes care of HIS children, therefore we have a certain obligation if we're consistently walking in HIs will, to hold HIM accountable for our lives, our future, and our consequences. When we are down and out, or living a very humble life compared to others, when we ask God for things, as in, a job, money enough to survive, to be able to exist somewhere God has led us to, we can hold God accountable for those things telling HIM, Lord, you led me here, if you want me to stay, you need to provide whatever it is you think (in your own mind) you need to stay in the existing status of your walk.

Here's where the tricky part comes in, if you ask God for a job, and you're not looking, He can't give you one. If you have stepped into a set of circumstances that are not spiritually logical, an example would be to move somewhere you know you can't last financially, and then you ask God to give you money to stay there, well, you may not get the answer you need. But, if on the other hand, you had to move and you found the cheapest place you could for the money you have, and then you see the end of your money supply coming and are asking God for sustenance, He is more likely to answer your prayers. We have to do this in faith though also, so there is the substance of a biblical foundation. Without faith, it is impossible to please him! Hebrews 11 all.
