The Sinners Poem

The Sinner's Poem

What is it that unforgiveness is made of, is it offense, or is it hate, does the father sanction it, or see disdain.

We justify our actions based in our own ignorance, and then we think that God won't care, as we build the fence;

Will we do what Jesus did, or do we keep our secrets hid, HE says when you go and pray, that in your closet you should stay;

Giving alms in front of men, is not the way the Father says, HE rewards us openly, but not if we go brag to thee;

So why would God bless us this day, when we won't let him show the way, show no faith and you can't win, disobedience is a sin;

Covenants are sacred vows, and when their broke, the Lord allows, a certain grace for each his own, but consequences will be known;

For if we reap just what we sow,  like in the Word it says, then on our knees to him we go our sins we must confess;

Is it right when we don't show the love we owe our neighbor, I think it reaps the wrath of God and we will lose his favor;

Matthew six in verse fifteen the father shows us well, we don't forgive and lose our face we'll surely go to hell;

How can we stay in God's will, if sins we carry through, God don't lie I tell you this, his laws we must all do;

The Bible is a book of love, we all must learn it well, cause Jesus died upon the cross so we won't go to hell;

You can't be save if you won't ask him in unto your heart, but if you do I guarantee you'll make a brand new start;

The Holy Spirit is our gift from God when we obey, He shows us all and gives us strength to walk another way;

Don't put it off, salvation's near, my lips they must confess, eternal life, and blessings here, my God he is the Best:
