Born Again Requirements

Being
"Born Again"
is a command
straight from the mouth
of our Lord and Savior!

I have a "Born Again Believers Group" in MeWe, used to have one in Facehook until they proved to be communists!

And I just want to say it's amazing how many people requesting to be a member then ad now either don't know how to answer the 3 qualifying questions, or they try to answer them with elaborate, over complex bible verses and insinuations that are way off subject.

So my three questions are these:
1. What is your God's name?
2. What do you believe about your God
3. How do you know you're going to heaven?

So the basis for being a born again believer is as follows.

King James Version
John 3:1-7

1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Question 1, What is the name of your God?

If you understand the context of what Jesus was saying, then you're good, but most people do not!

John 8:19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.

John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Matthew 11:27  All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

John 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

I and my Father are one.

1 John 2:23  Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

John 5:23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

John 10:30  I and my Father are one.

Ok, There are many more scriptures that prove Jesus Christ is out Lord and Savior as not only did he die on the cross for our sins, but HE is one with the FATHER!

So the answer to question no. one is Jesus Christ, The only other viable answer is "I am" or I am, that I am". But most are far from knowing that.

Moving on to the answer for question 2.

Question 2, What do you believe about your God?

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Acts 13:30  30 But God raised him from the dead:

Acts 10:37-41 37That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; 38How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. 39And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: 40Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; 41Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

Romans 4:24,25   24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Matthew 17:22,23  22And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: 23And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.

Luke 9:18-22 18 And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am? 19 They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others say, that one of the old prophets is risen again. 20 He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God. 21 And he straitly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing; 22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.

So the answer for question 2 is I beleive Jesus was crucified on the cross for my sins, died, and was buried, then raised the 3rd day according to the scriptures.

Moving on to question 3. This reverts back to Jesus conversation with Nicodemus.

So question 3 in: How do you know you're going to heaven?

Acts 16:25-31  25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. 27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. 28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. 29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, 30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Romans 10:11-13 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Acts 4:11,12  11This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Mark 16:16  16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
(emphasis on believing)

Romans 10:8-10  8 ......The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

So the last questions answer is: I have asked the Lord Jesus Christ to come into my heart and forgive me from my sin and save me and guide me for the rest of my days! Or something to that affect!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My hope for you is that you have had a prayer of salvation, and if you haven't and you want to ask Christ into your heart and life, then I offer these words for you to repeat, but only if your heart is sincere, because God knows it if you're not.
*******************************************************
Prayer of Salvation
Dear God, I now know I have needed you and have rejected your calling, so today,
right now, I ask Jesus Christ to come into my heart and my life, and forgive me from
all past sin and Lord cleanse me from my unrighteousness. I believe that Jesus was
crucified for my sin, died, and was buried and rose from the dead according to the
scriptures. I want you forever more to be my guide and I want to follow you as a
believer. I ask for your strength to change my heart and my earthly ways so that I
can become a better child in your kingdom. Show me how to depend on you in all
things. And show me how to do your will in my life.
I thank you and pray this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
