Here it is Saturday, November 24th, 2012 and I am perplexed because people don't know how to love others. They're all wrapped up in their own pride, unforgiveness and bitterness and if you claim to trust in Jesus Christ, then quit doubting his supreme power, majesty and sovereignty, and sacrifice your own self will, pride and the attitude of (I deserve it) or (I am worth it) that the world advertises, and submit yourself unto Christ, and he will lift you up and exhort you with his Holy Spirit!

I am so saddened by the selfishness of the world. The "I must protect myself attitude,"  the "I must build walls, so I don't get hurt," attitude, so many people don't know how to live according to the will of Jesus Christ.

Everyone wants to live in their own little comfort zone! Well, go ahead, but if you don't know Christ, and if you aren't saved, then you are going to hell in comfort!

But, I guarantee you, you will be taken out of your comfort zone, and you will be in agony in hell, at judgement day.

You know the greatest lesson Jesus Christ ever taught was that of love. Yes, he got angry in the temple when humans, defiled the basic purpose that the sanctuary was created for, and that was to give GOD glory and worship HIM. It's sad, because human beings used the temple even at that time to promote greed and self-service and self indulgence, to fulfill the desires of the flesh. God's sanctuary is for giving God glory and appreciating the reason we were created.

The devil has used everything in his power to distract people from the purpose God created them for. That is to live in happiness, live in a way that allows them, because of their belief and trust in God, not to worry about everything, from minor things to major things, and instead, put their trust in the God of the universe, and God of the entire galactic stratosphere, and live in a way that reflects love and satisfaction in life. Really, seriously, if God, who is in control, decides the outcome of every situation, even though human self will comes into play, HE will determine where it puts us,  why do we allow our own pride, to detour us from HIS will in our lives?

When positions of power allow us the will to control things, are we using it for God's glory, or are we using it for our own desires? God's will says, treat others as you would want to be treated, be humble and give of the resources I have blessed you with. Human pride and greed says, I can make myself powerful and perhaps rich and prosperous if I succumb to my own desires and trample on other peoples rights.

So many governments rise and fall because of this. The bible, which is the UN-adulterated word of God says, the meek shall inherit the earth.

Matt. 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

So no matter what position we find ourselves in, we have to be humble. Don't use it as a means to fulfill the lust of our flesh or our greed. Now, I want to get back to the main focus, and that is love.

Love is the fulfillment of God's plan. Without it, we are forever in want, we are empty vessels. God fills us with love, but, if we don't know how to give it away, it will eventually be taken from us. So learn how to love and give it away. So this begs the question, what is love about?

We can define it in all sorts of ways. I won't go into the many ways in which people feel loved, or the many ways we need to learn how to express our love, so that people are receptive to it. What the one basic thing that is common to all situations is that, unless we learn how to make ourselves vulnerable to God, we can not allow true love to reach us. Think about it, humans love many things. But, does that love ever last? NO, it doesn't, because we are a judgmental society, we have limits, we have expectations, we have shortcomings.

However, once we open ourselves up to an intimate relationship with God, and expose our vulnerabilities,
we can't open ourselves up to an intimate relationship with people so it allows us to first, be known to the deepest part of our souls, and then if someone is going to love us, I have to say unconditionally, they will know us in a deep way. But, if we are only ever exposing our surface qualities, then people can only love us in a shallow and very superficial way.

God knows us from our inception, and He knows us even before the creation of this world, so He has no problem loving us despite of our human frailties. We have to trust in this fact. He created the worlds, He created man from the dust of the earth, He has no limits.

But, man in his general nature and spiritual condition, only knows the spirit of a man. So until we bare the inner spirit we possess, how can we be loved by any other man, unconditionally to the bone. Here lies the basic problem of mankind. We don't want to be vulnerable.

I can only end this commentary by saying that, LOVE is conditional upon your condition. We first have to learn how to become vulnerable to God. That means, trusting in HIS ultimate sovereignty and control. When we can let down our own protectionism, and start trusting in an invisible, omnipresent GOD, we can not even imagine what it is to trust in an imperfect creation of HIS, who should be living according to HIS will.
My hope for you is that you have had a prayer of salvation,
and if you haven't and you want to ask Christ into your heart and life,
then I offer these words for you to repeat,
but only if your heart is sincere,
because God knows it if you're not.

Dear God, I now know I have needed you and have
rejected your calling, so today, right now,
I ask Jesus Christ to come into my heart and my life,
and forgive me from all past sin and Lord cleanse me
from my unrighteousness. I believe that Jesus was
crucified for my sin, died, and was buried and rose from
the dead according to the scriptures. I want you forever more
to be my guide and I want to follow you as a believer.
I ask for your strength to change my heart and
my earthly ways so that I can become a better
child in your kingdom. Show me how to depend
on you in all things. And show me how to do
your will in my life. I thank you and pray this
prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Seek Ye First
