Rapture of The Church

This is the question, I feel like the Lord has revealed to me that we have entered a new dispensation period and that we will soon see many things happening in the world that we're not used to.

There are going to be demonic occurrences un-rivaled since our times, but there's also going to be heavenly spiritual culminations/miracles/etc. that will astound people also. Although, the general public will not recognize that they're Godly spiritual events and are truly from God.

We born again Christians who are in tune with God's Spirit will have no doubt in our minds.
We need to be ready to wage spiritual warfare in the name of Jesus Christ with these entities if confronted by them. But I have to tell you, these entities are already aware of who us confirmed Christians are and they will for the most part steer clear of us!

I have now two schools of thought on this rapture scenario. After reading , Dispensational Truth by Clarence Larkin, which is downloadable at the very bottom of this page, he almost convinces me that we will be raptured  just before the 7 year tribulation period starts.

In 2nd Thessalonians 2:7,8 it says, 7) For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8) And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.

We know he is talking about the Holy Ghost here and that Satan's power is limited in the presence of God's Spirit! But when the church is raptured, the Holy Ghost is taken out of the way along with the church, the bride of Christ. In verse 8 it then says, we believers have to be gone before the wicked one is revealed!

Here is what Clarence Larkin says in his book (public domain) on page 88, -

This is a "Dual Age" and includes the "Millennial Age" and the "Perfect Age, " between which the earth is to be "Renovated by Fire." The Present Age is to end by the "Rapture" of the Church, followed by the "Great Tribulation, " and the "Age of Ages' is to be ushered in by the "Revelation" of Christ, when He shall return to the earth, and after judging the "Nations, " shall set up His Millennial Kingdom.

Continuing on page 170 he writes,
The Time of Rapture.

Some claim that "all" the Church are to pass through the Tribulation; others that "all" the Church are to be caught out before the Tribulation, while some claim that only the "Waiting" and "Watching" Saints shall be caught out before the Tribulation, and that the rest must pass through it. The. latter base their claim on Heb. 9:28, where it says-"Unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation." While this might apply to the living when He appears, it certainly cannot apply to the dead. There are tens and hundreds of thousands who "fell asleep in Jesus" who never heard of the Premillennial Coming of the Lord, or at least never grasped its meaning, and who therefore never "watched" and "waited" and "looked" for His Appearing. They surely are "In Christ"; and the "Dead in Christ" are to rise at the Rapture. Paul does not say in 1Thes. 4:16, 1Thes. 4:17, that it will be the "dead" who "watched" and "waited" and "looked, " and those who are "alive" and "watch" and "wait" and "look" for His Appearing that shall be "caught out, " but the dead "In Christ, " and we who "Are Alive And Remain."
The order of the Resurrections is-"Christ the 'First Fruits, ' afterward they that 'are Christ's at His Coming." Paul says-"Behold, I show you a Mystery: we shall not all 'sleep, ' but we shall ALL Be Changed." 1Cor. 15:51.

Then there is another fact that we must not forget, and that is, the Unity of the Church.

"For as the Body Is One, and hath many members, and ALL the Members Of That One Body, Being Many ARE ONE BODY; so also is Christ. For by One Spirit are we ALL Baptized Into One Body." 1Cor. 12:12, 1Cor. 12:13.
All then who have been "born again" (John 3:3-5) are part of Christ's "Body, " and we cannot conceive of Christ's "Body" being divided; part of it remaining "asleep" in the grave, and part of it "raised in glory"; part of it left to pass through the Tribulation, and part of it "changed" and caught up to meet Him in the air.

If "all" the Church are to pass through the Tribulation, then instead of waiting and watching "for the Lord, " we should be waiting and watching "for the Tribulation " which is contrary to the teaching of Christ Himself. Matt. 24:21,22.
The Tribulation is not for the perfecting "of the Saints." It has nothing to do with the Church. It is the time of "Jacob's Trouble" (Jer. 30:7), and is the "Judgment of Israel, " and it is God's purpose to keep the Church Out Of It. Rev. 2:10. The Book of Revelation is written in chronological order. After the fourth chapter the Church is seen no more upon the earth until she appears in the nineteenth chapter coming with the Bridegroom "from" Heaven. The entire time between these two chapters is filled with appalling judgments that fall upon those that "dwell on the earth, " and as the Church is not of the earth, but is supposed to "sit together in, "Heavenly Places" in Christ Jesus, " (Eph. 2:6), she will not be among those who "dwell on the earth" in those days.

So this commentary above had me convinced for a long time of a pre-trib rapture.....
I really believe now in the mid-trib rapture or what some describe as the pre-wrath rapture and here's why!
One thing to remember is that the first 3.5 years while we're still here, will be a time of harvesting for the Kingdom where people are going to need the salvation message during a troubled part of the first 3.5 years of tribulation that will contain many trials, difficulties and signs and wonders. So to go on....
Not too long ago, I felt the Lord revealed to me that as a Christian, if you are born again, if you make it alive to the 7 years of tribulation, we will still be here up until about 45 days after the first 3 & 1/2 years. That means that the rapture will probably occur about 45 days into the final three and a half years, after the halfway point! This isn't good news, but remember, if you read in Revelation, it says, these are those who were brought out of great tribulation. So I am just making sure I'm ready, I'll accept a pre-tribulation but strongly believe in a mid-tribulation rapture. Read on to discover why!
But, remember, only God knows when he's coming back!

Read Matthew first, Matt. 24:21-22, it says: "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22) And except those days be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Also in Mark
Mark 13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Mark 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. Mathew 24:22

Then, if you read Revelation 7:13,14 it says, "And one of the elders said to me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14) And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."

Daniel 9:24-27
24) Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the  Prince  shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy   the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Ask yourself, if the anti-Christ has made peace and lets everything go your way, allowing the sacrifice etc. Every thing looks and goes reasonably good right? Then suddenly, HE revokes the permission to sacrifice in the temple, by the time 45 days go by, there will be great tribulation. Be not worried, Even if you get guillotined, remember what Jesus said, and what we've been told.

1st Corinthians 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immorality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56) The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57) But thanks be to God, which giveth us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Now, here is the proof that we will be about 45 days into the time of great tribulation. In Daniel, it talks about the time the sacrifice is taken away and the time of great tribulation and then when the end of times will be.

Daniel 12:7-13  KJV
And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

Did you notice the difference in verses 11 and 12?  Verse 11 says, "there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Verse 12 says,"Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days."

If you do the math, that's 45 days after the middle of the 7 years prophesied for the end of days.

Why is this significant?

I'm not going to commit to a guarantee, because the bible says that no man knoweth the day or the hour that Jesus will return to rapture his saints. But I do believe that God's children will be brought out of great tribulation and not before. Mathew 24:22

There's another man Pastor David Lankford testifying about a rapture not pre-tribulation in this You Tube broadcast below!
