Shenzhen Baptism Service

Shenzhen Baptism Service

May 31, 2009, 10:48 PM

This is so great! I attended a baptismal service today, Sunday, May 31st 2009 in Shenzhen, China.

This is the largest gathering of people being baptized that I have ever experienced and the reason I was there was because my wife's sister Christy was being baptized.

I have posted pictures with this blog and everyone you see in the white robes was getting baptized. I would say that there were about 40% male and 60% female Christians that got baptized that day! I wanted to mention that I was told there were 200 people that got baptized! I watched about 40 people get baptized by sprinkling this day.
Which I want to reccomend you read about here--> Baptism, sprinkle or immersion?

Editing this page today as of August 9th 2020, I doubt this church still stands because of the CCP forcing churches, even Catholic churches to abide by communist manifesto or be crushed! The communist Chinese have taken strict control of everything!

My hope for you is that you have had a prayer of salvation,
and if you haven't and you want to ask Christ into your heart and life, then I offer these words for you to repeat,
but only if your heart is sincere, because God knows it if you're not.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear God, I now know I have needed you and have
rejected your calling, so today, right now,
I ask Jesus Christ to come into my heart and my life,
and forgive me from all past sin and Lord cleanse me
from my unrighteousness. I believe that Jesus was
crucified for my sin, died, and was buried according
to the scriptures. I want you forever more to be
my guide and I want to follow you as a believer.
I ask for your strength to change my heart and
my earthly ways so that I can become a better
child in your kingdom. Show me how to depend
on you in all things. And show me how to do
your will in my life. I thank you and pray this
prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
