Signs for Change

If there is something in your life that is bothering you, or a situation that is not going right, God is trying to get your attention and wants you to examine your relationship with Him and how you are living your life. Everyday, the Christian walk is a walk of obedience and there is no such thing as a good Christian.

Even Jesus himself admitted he was not good and only the Father in heaven was good.
(Matthew 19:17)

Paul tells of the battle between man's spirit,(the flesh), and God's Spirit in us if we're a born again Christian, and how they war against each other.
(Romans 7:14-25)

For you to understand this you have to understand the conflict between the world we live in and our destination in Christ. We are to remember that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, we are to live spiritually more than physically.

(Matthew 4:8-10) We live in the devils world, but walk in obedience with the Holy spirit leading us. So, at any one moment in time, if we forget our calling, and fulfill the wants or lust of the flesh, that is considered worldly and can be sinful. (Romans 7:23)

Now, don't take this the wrong way, everything worldly is not a sin or wrong. But your conscience will guide you if you are a born again Christian.

I have recently been convicted to write about our spiritual walk. Somewhere, sometime, someone started the saying "Do What Jesus Would Do." That's good, but if you do it for the wrong reasons then don't be surprised if you can't always accept the consequences.

Here's what I been convicted on.

Here's a new saying to spread around, "Think like Jesus Thinks."

If you can concentrate on this virtue and program yourself to have a constant God conscientiousness, which is what we all should have, then you can surpass the self-willed actions of spiritual play acting.

There has to be a point when we can react to life's circumstances with a spiritual unconsciousness that culminates in the same Love that God reacts to with us. When we can accomplish this, we are certainly more pleasing to Jesus Christ and our father in Heaven.

Here's another bit of wisdom I feel has been released to me. If we are walking in obedience, and we are experiencing the Holy Ghost's leading, since Christ is in us, we will not only think like HIM then, we will do what Jesus would do.

An example is
Galatians 6:1, If you see a brother in a fault, you will try to nudge him back on the right path. Sometimes, our spiritual gifts vary, so if your say a prophet, then the nudging can be a bit more serious in warning someone that their off the path God wants them to be on.

We are all accountable to Christ and we can't forget that we are committed unto Jesus in all aspect's of His walk. We can't go around ignoring sin. It's the sin around us that interferes with our lives.

2nd Corinthians 10:4
tells us to bring into captivity every thought unto the obedience of Christ! Having a readiness to revenge all disobedience when our obedience is fulfilled. Lot of people don't understand what that means, having a readiness to revenge all disobedience when our obedience is fulfilled. Hence if we aren't in obedience when we are prompted by the spirit to warn others of their disobedience, then we will not only grieve the Holy Spirit of God, we will fall into sin and disobedience ourselves.

My hope for you is that you have had a prayer of salvation,
and if you haven't and you want to ask Christ into your heart and life,
then I offer these words for you to repeat,
but only if your heart is sincere,
because God knows it if you're not.

Dear God, I now know I have needed you and have
rejected your calling, so today, right now,
I ask Jesus Christ to come into my heart and my life,
and forgive me from all past sin and Lord cleanse me
from my unrighteousness. I believe that Jesus was
crucified for my sin, died, and was buried according
to the scriptures. I want you forever more to be
my guide and I want to follow you as a believer.
I ask for your strength to change my heart and
my earthly ways so that I can become a better
child in your kingdom. Show me how to depend
on you in all things. And show me how to do
your will in my life. I thank you and pray this
prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
