Spiritual Success

After you become a born again follower of Jesus Christ these are the three main ingredients to be a successful Jesus follower.

A sincere heart:  Without a sincere heart in anything we do, we will not focus, we will not be consistent and we will waver in our commitments.

Deuteronomy 4:29,30, Ephesians 6:24, Philippians 1:10, 2 Corinthians 1:12, Titus 2:7

Obedience to God: Without obedience to God, we cannot be directed, we cannot put our faith into action and we will fall into the trap of following our own fleshly will.

Isaiah 1:18-20, Exodus 7:6 & 40:16, 1st Samuel 18:14,15, Job 36:11,12, Proverbs 28:29, Matthew 1:24, John 14:15, Hebrews 5:8 & 12:25,28, Romans 5:19 & 6:16 & 16:19 & 16:25,26, 2nd Corinthians 10:4-6, 1st Peter 1:13-15, Deuteronomy 4:29-31,

Faith in God:  Without faith it is impossible to please HIM, it is impossible to step out of our comfort zone, it is impossible to go beyond our natural limits which include, logic, common sense, restraint of our financial resources and emotional boundaries. The foundation of being a believer is FAITH!

Matthew 9:29, & 21:21, & 21:27, Hebrews 10:22,23, 11:all, James 1:6, Mark 2:5 & 4:40, Luke 7:50, John 3:16, Romans 3:21-28 & 14:23, Ephesians 2:8 & 3:12, Galatians 2:16 & 3:26, 1st Timothy 1:19, 1st Corinthians 12:9, 2nd Corinthians 5:7, James 1:3 & 2:7,  2nd Thessalonians 3:2, Revelation 2:19,

These are the secondary ingredients for a successful walk in Christ Jesus as a believer. The secondary manifestation of being a believer is LOVE!

Love:  Without love, nothing else matters, love is the essence of sincerity, patience, longsuffering, charity, faith, kindness, humility, obedience, honesty and good behavior. There are 100’s of verses on love in the bible because it is a book of LOVE!
