WATCH: Black Lives Matter Founder Said “We Are Trained Marxists” In Unearthed 2015 Video
June 20, 2020

Well, we could have told you that.

Elizabeth Johnston, the Activist Mommy, has been one of the few voices out there who has been bold enough to call the organization Black Lives Matter out for their radical, far-left Marxist views.

She affirms, as we all do here at Activist Mommy, that black lives do matter, and that racism is clearly a sin.

But the group that has co-oped this life-affirming phrase for their name has a distinct political ideology that Christians need to be made aware of.

She’s highlighted some of these concerns in the following post:The organization Black Lives Matter has been quite forthcoming about their ideology, as illustrated in a recently unearthed video in which co-founder Patrisse Cullors bluntly said that they are “trained Marxists.”

“I think of a lot of things: The first thing I think of is that we actually do have an ideology frame,” she said in an interview with The Real News Network in 2015.

“Myself and Alicia [Garza], in particular, are trained organizers. We are trained Marxists. We are super versed on ideological theories, and I think what we really try to do is build a movement that can be utilized by many, many black folk,” she continued.

And while fighting racism and bigotry is a bipartisan concern, the group is also overtly partisan, as Cullors admitted this week, telling CNN’s Jake Tapper bluntly that their goal is “to get Trump out.”

The Lead CNN

President "Trump not only needs to not be in office in November but he should resign now," says co-founder of the Black Lives Matter Global Network Patrisse Cullors. "Trump needs to be out of office. He is not fit for office."

This is not a movement dedicated simply to promoting the value of black lives. If that were the case, they would certainly advocate for defunding Planned Parenthood, would they not?

As National File recently reported, Black Lives Matter is bankrolled heavily by George Soros and Clinton-linked foundations, which we don’t have to tell you are definitively left-wing.

In 2016, organizations in the Black Lives Matter movement received $33 million in grants from the Open Society Foundations, founded by Hungarian hedge fund manager George Soros in 1993, and the Center for American Progress, founded by former White House chief of staff and Hillary Clinton campaign chair John Podesta in 2003.

The Washington Times reported that, in 2016, the Black Lives Matter coalition raised over $100 million from a series of wealthy liberal foundations including The Ford Foundation, in addition to $33 million in grants from the Open Society Foundations, with additional grant-making from the Center for American Progress.

PolitiFact notes that Open Society Foundations previously condemned violence, and claims that Open Society Foundations reiterated this regarding the recent unrest in emails.

The same entities donating heavily to the Democrat party and anti-life, racist organizations like Planned Parenthood are funding Black Lives Matter, while their members are open about their radical Marxist views.

Shock: Here's What's Happened After NYC Released Hundreds of Inmates from Rikers

Hundreds of inmates were released from Riker's Island in New York City to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in the prison. Officials knew the risks. And those fears have been realized, hundreds of times. New reporting from Melissa Russo reveals that at least 250 prisoners out of the 2,500 who were released early have gone on to commit at least 450 more crimes.

"The NYPD is not happy," Russo said, somewhat understatedly.

250 prisoners released early from Rikers bc of COVID-19 concerns have been arrested 450 times since. We take a look at one who has been rearrested 4X already. The NYPD is not happy. Neither are the victims. EXCLUSIVE video here:

NBC4 New York explained how 27-year-old Jonathan Martinez, who was released from Rikers in March, had gone on to steal from the drug store Prime Essentials. "It’s a bad decision by our leaders,” said Ebi Khalili, one of the robbed store owners. That would turn out to be the mildest of his crimes in the coming weeks. Seven days after his early release, Martinez was arrested for allegedly pulling a boxcutter while stealing a cellphone from a passenger in a parked car. NBC New York has obtained video of this incident. Martinez was released on his own recognizance.

Later in April, he was arrested and released again, after being accused of stealing food and beverages from a Gourmet Garage. On June 3, police say he threw a rock through the window of Lahn, a clothing and jewelry boutique on Greenwich Avenue where owner Elise Ballegeer says she and her husband had struggled to reopen. (NBC4 New York)

There are plenty more crimes where those came from. Back in April, when the released criminals had so far only recommitted dozens of crimes, Mayor Bill de Blasio acted surprised and disappointed. He called it "unconscionable" that the released prisoners who were shown mercy would go on to their previous lives of crime.

The NYPD already have enough trouble on their hands with violent riots and protests in the wake of the Minneapolis police killing of George Floyd. Almost 400 officers have reportedly been injured in the past few weeks. All this, as the New York City council leaders, propose to cut $1 billion in funding from the police department.

There may be more than the usual kind of fireworks on the 4th of July in Seattle. In an event posted on Facebook, the group “American Patriots retake the Seattle occupation zone for America” plans a 4th of July event to remove the barricades, rescue the folks trapped, and clean up the mess left by Antifa/Black Lives Matter activists in the zone now being called CHAZ (Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone). (Gateway Pundit)

Real Fireworks

The patriot/biker group says they will not break any laws, but just remove the problems that have bound Seattle to the agenda of the communist/socialist groups. Their aim is to take back that “zone” for America.

The Event was posted on Facebook:

“On July 4th, Independence Day, a coalition of patriot groups and all who want to join are going to retake the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone for America. antifa members are illegally occupying public property and terrorizing small businesses in the neighborhood. American patriots have agreed to come together again, remove the barricades illegally obstructing traffic, and free the people in the zone.

You do not need a bike to join. Any and all patriots with all vehicles are coming to this event.

We are not going to hurt anybody, break the law etc. We are simply going to tear down the illegal barriers on public property, clean up the mess these communist kids made, and return the police station over to Seattle Police Department control

*The staging area will be Seward Park. The parking lot can handle roughly 10,000 bikes easily.”

While it all sounds great to us, the so called “peaceful protesters” within the CHAZ zone have some armed players. Some of them are not “kids” and their self-described “Warlord” is a rapper with big words and a nasty attitude.

Sounds a bit like Somalia, doesn’t it? Fireworks coming?

"[@TPostMillennial] was in downtown Seattle yesterday, and interviewed hip-hop artist and Black Lives Matter activist, Raz Simone, who has been called the 'warlord' of Seattle's recently occupied Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone."

EXCLUSIVE: Interview with the so-called 'warlord' of Seattle’s autonomous zone

When asked what the endgame of the occupation was, they said, "to keep the peace and unity, honestly, that's it. We're going to keep pushing that, there's nothing but that."

Seattle’s resident warlord Raz assaults citizen journalists and streamers.

He’d be a named enemy in The Division.

Since allowing the press inside their little “country,” they have scaled back on the presence of arms. That does NOT mean they are gone, it just means they are not as visible. Antifa and BLM may be in for some fireworks on the 4th. Will the well known strength of the bikers be enough to make the insurrectionists pick up and leave? Antifa goons should watch out- bikers are tough.

The event is being promoted by Prntly, a Conservative news media. The media says that some members of Oath Keepers, but not a specific chapter, are also signed up to join the Bikers.

This year’s 4th of July in Seattle could provide some real fireworks.

‘You won’t need to abolish us – we won’t be around for it’: Why many police officers like me are quitting the force

Travis Yates is a serving police commander in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is a doctoral student in Strategic Leadership, a graduate of the FBI National Academy, and the author of "The Courageous Police Leader: A Survival Guide for Combating Cowards, Chaos & Lies”. This article was first published on

The nasty words we, the police, get called all the time have now turned into rocks, bottles and gunfire. It’s over, America: we are leaving.

This is the hardest thing I have written.

I grew up in a law enforcement family. My father worked his way up to the rank of Captain at the Fort Smith, Arkansas, Police Department. As a kid I remember going with him on Friday to pick up his check and I was in awe of these super heroes he worked around. My dad sacrificed a lot and so did my late mother. Whether it was the week-long surveillance or wiretap or chasing drug runners across the country, he gave it all for my family and worked plenty of extra details to never let our family be without.

Some would call that privilege but where I grew up, it was called hard work.
The kids at school thought it was cool what my dad did and while he sometimes asked me if anyone gave me a hard time, they never did. There was respect among all… even the kids in shop class. I didn’t grow up wanting to be a cop but one fateful night, as a freshman in college, that all changed. I went on a ride along and my life’s journey would never be the same. After four years of college my dad wanted me at an agency that respected that education so I moved to Tulsa (Oklahoma) at 21 years old and never looked back.

I didn’t know anyone and all I knew was what I saw my dad do, work hard and treat people with respect. I saw a lot of other cops working hard as well and doing all they could to keep the community safe. 27 years has passed and if you would have told me the condition of law enforcement today, I would have never believed you. It’s not that law enforcement has changed for the worse but everything around it has. The mentally ill used to get treatment and now they just send cops. Kids used to be taught respect and now it’s cool to be disrespectful. Supervisors used to back you when you were right but now they accuse you of being wrong in order to appease crazy people. Parents used to get mad at their kids for getting arrested and now they get mad at us.

The media used to highlight the positive contribution our profession gave to society and now they either ignore it or twist the truth for controversy to line their own pockets. There used to be a common respect among criminals. If they got caught, they understood you had a job to do but now it’s our fault they sit in handcuffs rather than their own personal decisions. If someone attacked a cop, they were seen as such. Now we martyr them and sue for millions. We used to be able to testify in court and we were believed. Now, unless there is video from three different angles, no one cares what you have to say.

With all this talk about racism and racist cops, I’ve never seen people treated differently because of their race. And while I know that cowards that have never done this job will call me racist for saying it, all I’ve ever seen was criminal behavior and cops trying to stop it and they didn’t give a rip what their skin color was. I’ve seen cops help and save any type of race, gender or ethnicity you can think of and while that used to mean something, no one cares anymore.

I’ve been called every name you can think of and many of them with racial overtones and it’s never come from cops. I’ve watched African American cops take the brunt of this and even talked one rookie out of quitting after he was berated by a lot of cowards that had the same skin color as him.
I’ve heard words I never heard before being a cop. Uncle Tom, Cracker, Pig and the N Word just to name a few. I’ve heard them thousands of times and never once did I see a police officer retaliate. They just took it.

Despite that, it’s been the greatest opportunity of my life to do this job. I would have recommended it to anyone and I secretly hoped one of my kids would do it one day. They would have been a 4th Generation Cop.
But today, all of that is over. I wouldn’t wish this job on my worst enemy. I would never send anyone I cared about into the hell that this profession has become. It’s the only job you can do everything right and lose everything. It’s the only job where the same citizens you risk your life for hate you for it.

It’s the only segment left in society where it’s cool to discriminate and judge, just because of the uniform you wear. You never get to explain. You can never reason with them. The nasty words have now turned into rocks and bottles and gunfire. I’ve watched it happen to those around me and I have seen the total destruction of their life. This job is a walking time bomb and you could get cancelled or prosecuted on the very next call, even if you do everything right. No profession has to deal with that.

Doctors kill 250,000 people a year. They call them “medical mistakes” because society understands that they do a very difficult job under high stress and they must make the best possible decision in the moment. Law enforcement is tasked with the same and we are highly successful. Despite the most violent society we have ever seen, less than 1,000 suspects are killed a year. 96% are attacking us with weapons and all but a few others are attacking us with their cars or their fists and more and more with simulated guns so Benjamin Crump (an American civil rights attorney) can help their family win the lottery.

I’ve seen cops risk their own lives when they shouldn’t have… just to keep from taking one. They never get the credit that other professions get. Cowards are all around us. From chiefs to sheriffs to politicians, no one has our back. Now, the little we have, we are told they are going to defund us or even abolish us. Citizens with a political agenda will reign over us and all you have to do is wake up and put on a uniform to be a racist.
This weekend I received death threats for just doing my job. It would have been outrageous a decade ago and made national news.

Now, it’s just a Monday. There will be more threats, more accusations of racism and more lies told about us. I used to talk cops out of leaving the job. Now I’m encouraging them. It’s over America. You finally did it. You aren’t going to have to abolish the police, we won’t be around for it. And while I know most Americans still appreciate us, it’s not enough and the risk is too high.

Those of you that say thank you or buy the occasional meal, it means everything. But those of you that were silent while the slow turning of the knives in our backs happened by thugs and cowards, this is on you. Your belief in hashtags and memes over the truth has and will create an environment in your community that you will never expect. If you think Minneapolis will never turn into Mogadishu – it’s coming. And when it does, remember what your complicity did.

This is the America that you made.

Lawmaker: California Democrats 'legalize child prostitution'

Teens 'free to have sex in exchange for money without fear of arrest or prosecution'
By WND Staff
Published December 29, 2016 at 9:22pm

SACRAMENTO – Beginning on Jan. 1, police cannot arrest child prostitutes in the streets of California, except under limited circumstances.

In fact, police officers in the state will be banned from arresting any person under the age of 18 for soliciting or loitering with intent, according to Senate Bill 1322. California Gov. Jerry Brown signed the bill on Sept. 26, and it will go into effect Sunday.

The law also requires police to report allegations of child prostitution to county child welfare agencies. Advocates of the law say it will help child victims of sex trafficking get treatment rather than sending them to juvenile hall and tagging them with a rap sheet for prostitution.

State Sen. Holly J. Mitchell, D-Los Angeles, who introduced the bill, said, "The law is supposed to protect vulnerable children from adult abuse, yet we brand kids enmeshed in sex-for-pay with a scarlet 'P' and leave them subject to shame and prosecution. This is our opportunity to do what we say is right in cases of sex trafficking: stop the exploiters and help the exploited."

But Travis Allen, a Republican lawmaker representing the 72nd Assembly District in the California Legislature, warned of the fallout from what he called a "terribly destructive legislation [that] was written and passed by the progressive Democrats who control California's state government." "[T]eenage girls (and boys) in California will soon be free to have sex in exchange for money without fear of arrest or prosecution," Allen wrote in a column published by the Washington Examiner.

Allen acknowledged that Democrats sincerely believe the law will help child sex victims, but he issued a dire warning about the "immoral" consequences of decriminalizing child prostitution. "Unfortunately, the reality is that the legalization of underage prostitution suffers from the fatal defect endemic to progressive-left policymaking: it ignores experience, common sense and most of all human nature — especially its darker side," Allen explained.

"The unintended but predictable consequence of how the real villains — pimps and other traffickers in human misery — will respond to this new law isn't difficult to foresee. Pimping and pandering will still be against the law whether it involves running adult women or young girls. But legalizing child prostitution will only incentivize the increased exploitation of underage girls. Immunity from arrest means law enforcement can't interfere with minors engaging in prostitution — which translates into bigger and better cash flow for the pimps. Simply put, more time on the street and less time in jail means more money for pimps, and more victims for them to exploit."

Other experts agreed with Allen's assessment. Paul Durenberger, an assistant chief district attorney in Sacramento County who oversees human trafficking cases, told the Sacramento Bee in February that the legislation is similar to "bills that a trafficker would want to write to protect themselves." Alameda County District Attorney Nancy O'Malley, a respected leader on the issue of human trafficking, said the law "just opens up the door for traffickers to use these kids to commit crimes and exploit them even worse."

The Bee noted that a program in Sacramento already relocates sexually exploited children from juvenile hall to treatment programs. Upon completion of the programs, child sex victims are cleared of charges. Allen argued that when police officers take child prostitutes into custody, it helps young sex-trafficking victims escape their abusers.

"Minors involved in prostitution are clearly victims, and allowing our law enforcement officers to pick these minors up and get them away from their pimps and into custody is a dramatically better solution than making it legal for them to sell themselves for sex," he wrote. "That only deepens their victimization and renders law enforcement powerless to stop the cycle of abuse. SB 1322 is not simply misguided — its consequences are immoral."

California's sex trafficking industry is notoriously large. In 2016 so far, there have been 307 cases of trafficking involving children and teens reported to the National Human Trafficking Resource Center. In 2015, the federal government selected Sacramento as one of six U.S. cities to flagship a national enforcement team focused on stopping human trafficking.
